“Run when you can, walk if you have to, crawl if you must; just never give up”
- Dean Karnazes
My practice strives to provide high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care. As a physician with a sports medicine background, my goal is to help you achieve your goals. I believe this first begins by carefully listening to patients as they describe the details of their ailments and understanding how these issues interfere with and limit their quality of life.
Patient education is an important aspect of my practice philosophy. Often times understanding the underlying causes of orthopedic problems as well as the treatment options themselves can often be complex and confusing. In my experience, an informed patient who is well educated on their particular condition is much more engaged and empowered throughout the treatment process, and this ultimately improves their outcome.
While orthopedic injuries and ailments are usually not life-threatening, they can easily impact quality of life and prevent someone from leading a happy, healthy and productive life. I strive to return patients to full pain-free function whether that means high-level athletic competition, recreational pursuits, work activities, or simply enjoying time with family and friends.
